Imagine
you are a 14-year-old Japanese boy and one day a little
imp-boy in a blue dress comes crashing through your bedroom
window, with a book of spells that you can cast through his
body, and asks you to help him in his campaign to defeat all
others like him so that he can become the king of his
people. You might be ready to show him the curb until he
tells you he was sent by your father to make a man out of
you. Well, it doesn't matter what you'd do because Kiyo
reluctantly agreed to help the little imp named Zatch Bell and
this show's about them. So there.
This show is a lot like Pokémon but
with little people instead of pets. The humor and
situations are geared a lot more for adolescents and adults
than kids, but what child can resist watching some dude with
crazy green hair get zapped with lightning? None, that's
who! I know I like it. The humor and goofiness
mixed with important lessons of heroism, dedication, and butt-whoopin'
is irresistible to any anime fan.
Some
people find the show too goofy so if you're boring like them
don't watch it. If you're a little more open-minded and
enjoy silliness like I do, then check it out!
