Reviews:
The
Matrix. I believe.
by Joe De Matteo
HUGE
| It
looks, feels and tastes real,
but it's all in your mind,
actually, it's the
Matrix.
The machines and
programs have tried different
worlds to keep our minds busy,
even perfect worlds, but we
humans are never happy in
paradise...
The Matrix asks
the question would you be happy
living a regular life once you
know that you're not free, or
live in a reality that is primitive
and poor?
This is a
landmark film. It changed
movie making forever. We
see the results of the advances
in visual arts in every thing
form new movies to TV
commercials.
My fist viewing
of The Matrix, in the theater,
we disappointing. I'd no
intention of ever seeing it
again. Then it showed up
under the Christmas tree, left
by Santa or a family member, so
I felt compelled to re-watch
it. And I've be
re-watching it over and over
again. it's a great movie,
but so different that I was
probably not ready for it on the
first viewing.
Haven't seen it
in a while? Well, go rent
it, or better yet buy.
Have a movie weekend (or if
you're a die hard like I am, a
movie night, and watch the trilogy
back to back. |
