Exciting, and beautiful at times.

I
liked Miami Vice; I had a good time. I enjoyed the
visuals, sounds and hi-tech vehicles. My only
criticism is that, for me, Colin Farrell played it
too cool at times. It got in the way at times. It
was distracting. You know what I mean? A
performance should enhance what’s going on, not take
you away from it.
I saw
the film with Christian De Matteo, who had a
completely different experience than I did. For me
the sound effects in the gun battles were GREAT!
The post card shots back-dropping the ruthless,
violent people that turn paradise into Hell, were
outstanding. (This dichotomy has always been
compelling for me.)
Once
is not enough, I’ve decided, therefore, I intend to
see the film again and will report more at that
time…maybe. For now my advice is go see it. Miami
Vice is exciting, sexy and even beautiful at times. |
