Before and After: updates and previews

     Christine Forsyth-Peters (producer) has more than Fashionists on her plate.  I am personally happy to see that she also as a film The Thing About Jane Spring on the boards for 2008.  What I like about this project is the screenwriter, Shainee Gabel.  Ms. Gabel wrote and directed one of my top 5 movies of all times, A Love Song for Bobby Long.  Just typing the title makes me want to see it again; I hear the sound track in my head.  I hope Ms. Peters has Ms. Gabel direct, as well.

     Hi.  I used to put some time in to watching the growing career of Ms. Lohan, I'm not doing that any more.  However, I'm still watching the progress of this film for the simple reason that if it's as good as the book it will be a night well spent at the movies.

     The film now has no cast.  It looks like they've gone back to the drawing boards.  I hope they stick with it.
 

     The "producers" in my last update becomes Producer, as in Christine Forsyth-Peters.  It looks like Ms. Forsyth-Peters, the screen writers and Lynn Messina, the writer of the popular novel, are only consistencies left in this film, which wears the industry label "IN PRODUCTION."  As a number of the original people involved in this project have fallen away, a number of others, at least in name, have come in and out of it. 

     I've tried to find out what happened to Lindsay Lohan, in whose career HugeReviews.com started watching some time ago.
 

     Producers Pamela Abdy, Christine Forsyth-Peters, and executive producer Bradford W. Smith, one must assume have kept any news of this production under-wraps. 

     While Lindsay Lohan is in the news almost daily, her name has been removed from the IMdb listings about the film.  One cannot discount the noteworthiness of Lynn Messina's book, but Ms. Lohan's association with the film was certainly a great asset.

     Fashionistas takes place in the high powered world of New York's fashion magazine industry.  Vig Morgan (Lindsay) is a hot up-and-coming fashion designer who has a bone to pick with her editor, whom she decides to take revenge on. But her plans backfire and Lindsay gets demoted to a lowly assistant position, and to make matters worse for this ambitious young woman, all of her work is anonymous.
     Enter one of the city's hottest bachelors.
