Another great Stephen King work comes to the screen.  John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson star in this horror film about a haunted New York City hotel room, room 1408.  Mike Enslin (Cusack), best selling author on supernatural phenomena (phenomeni?), decides to stay in the room to investigate/debunk/research the rumors personally.  However, Mr. Olin (Sam Jackson), the manager, objects strongly because something happens to people that spend the night in room 1408.

Director Mikael Håfström, coming off DERAILED and the well appreciated EVIL, looks like the perfect man for the job.  John Cusack has shown his ability as an actor in eerie movies with his wonderful performance in IDENTITY

Samuel L. Jackson is brings something great to everything he does; he has a presence.
