"The Devil Wears Prada" is the story of aspiring journalist, Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) who settles for a first job as second assistant to a boss from hell, Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), editor of a top New York fashion magazine. According to her first assistant Emily (Emily Blunt), thousands would kill for the job, but Andy isn't interested in fashion and her dream is to write for a newspaper or "The New Yorker".

With no other job offers, Andy needs the money and experience, but can she hold out for a year of sarcastic remarks and unrealistic demands? In tears and on the verge of quitting she seeks out her colleague Nigel (Stanley Tucci), who helps her fit in. She decides to meet the challenge, but will she sell her soul to succeed in the fashion world?

"The Devil Wears Prada" is a fun perspective the corporate world akin to taping the boss's picture to a dartboard. It may not be a classic that will change lives for generations, but it does treat a painful subject with intelligence and humor. Who hasn't had a boss from hell?
