| Okay,
so I'm an anime freak, and I'll admit it. I watch way
too much anime, I spend way too much money of my broke-a**
college student checking account on anime - Hi, my name is
Sara and I'm an addict. So I figured that at this point
in my anime-watching life I wouldn't encounter something that
I would watch and just say WOW! Well, that was Chobits. |
| I was intrigued
by the idea, and so I decided to pick up Volume 1 of the manga.
It was okay, and it had me curious to read more. So
I picked up Volume 2 and was immediately HOOKED! I
couldn't put it down. Then I watched the anime, and got
hooked all over again! It's a great show, with beautiful
animation, a solid plot and excellent music - I really dig the
opening theme "Let Me Be With You" and was even more
into it when I found out it was performed by Round Table, who
also sings the opening song for .hack//DUSK. I know some
people were kind of disappointed with the series, and it also
has a LOT of adult content, but I absolutely LOVE IT! |

cool thing about this show is that you learn a lot about
Japanese culture, so this is a definitely an anime for anyone
who wants to learn more about Japan (and is probably at least
16 years old). It also is great for men or women. Guys,
you will love Hideki and his enthusiasm about searching for
porn. Girls, you will love Chi and the love story.
If you watch anime at all, give this one a chance. |
