From just strange and Creepy Bug will take you to on a ride that
goes beyond nail biting, way beyond. The last part of the film
is suspense to an intensity that is not often achieved in film.
Agnes White (Ashley Judd) lives in a hopeless world
of negativity. Her violent husband has just been released from
prison, and in walks her friend with a stranger named Peter Evans
(Michael Shannon). We can see something is terribly wrong with
Peter, but Agnes is fascinated with him.
Peter may be her undoing.
Based on the play Bug, also written by Tracy Letts, in the
film director William Friedkin uses this medium for all it is worth.
